Spring hasn't sprung in Calgary but it can spring into your home.

Time to Shine’s favorite thing about spring is that we get to switch up the decor! If you're like us we love to decorate our house according to each season. In the spring and summer, it feels bright, breezy and sunny. In the fall and winter, it feels cozy, warm and comfortable. Changing up the decor doesn't take much effort at all; a few simple touches to each room and you're done.

Here are some simple spring decor ideas that you can try:

1. Living room: new throw pillows
Time to put away the comfy furry blanket and start to add spring color throw pillows to your couch;
this is a simple way to bring spring into the home.

2. Dining Table: change the table centerpiece
Add a touch of spring by changing the center piece or tablescape. An egg-filled bowl adds a fresh feel to the table, and the yellow flowers make it really pop! Blue dishes and white napkins will bring this look together.

3. Kitchen: add pink tulips!
Pink tulips can really make it feel like spring has sprung into your kitchen. If you want to add a touch of yellow we would suggest grabbing a fruit bowl and filling it with bananas or lemons.

4. Bedroom: Change your bedding
Aside from the walls, your bed is one of the largest focal points in your room. By simply changing your bedding you can give your bedroom an entirely different look. Also, don’t forget to change your window coverings to really make a statement.

5. Bathroom: Switch out the shower curtain
Take down the dark winter shower curtain and put up a nice spring shower curtain. Changing your shower curtain can also mean changing up your tooth paste holder, soap holder and tissue box.
